Trained in TV, and with an MA in Global Media and Post-national Communication from SOAS, I have been making films and photographing professionally for almost two decades.
Coming from a journalistic background, I am predominantly interested in documentary formats, especially investigative, social, cultural, and environmental subjects, both in video and photography.
My latest documentary about bias in Artificial Intelligence, was shown at the Barbican’s Life Rewired Hub last November and has recently been selected as Best Documentary at the Great Message International Film Festival. Other films of mine have been shown at film festivals worldwide, including Ocean at the Festival of Britain in the Southbank and Brooklyn Film Festival. I produce videos of the BBC Arabic Film Festival journalism and Q&A sessions yearly, and I have had footage broadcast by the BBC, Channel 4, and Danish TV1.
I also favour portraiture, which I carry out in my studio in Soho, where I do both digital and large format photography as well as video interview recordings.
Fluent in Spanish, Galician, and Portuguese, as well as English. I am currently learning Swahili.
I can operate both alone or with a team of professionals on bigger projects as required.
Let me tell your story: big or small.
